Join the freelance community driving collective change in Europe

You’re invited to our kick-off celebration

Come to connect, collaborate, celebrate, and change the industry with us!

To mark the opening of the sixth European Freelancers Week on Monday 18 October, you’re invited to join our panel of passionate guests as we work together to co-create the future in 2021.

In many countries in Europe, people are standing up, showing up, and speaking out about freelancers and the independent workforce. But few are standing up, showing up, or speaking up for right across Europe – but we are! As a pan European organisation we know how important it is to speak with one voice in order to drive needed action. We also know the new economy relies on you and you rely on us to push towards recognition and access for the 22 million self-employed in Europe.

Our panel includes:

Elina Jutelyte, Founder of Freelance Business Month

Robert Vlach, Founder of Freelance.eu

Ed Goodman, Founder of Freelance Heroes

Sarah de Heusch, Public Affairs Officer of Smart cooperative

#EFWeek 2021 is focused on recognition and community building – providing freelancers the opportunity to come together, focus on issues close to them and take collective action.

The world has changed and freelancers and independent workforces are no longer on the sidelines! There is a unique opportunity to decide the direction of the future of independent work in Europe and we need to seize it. Freelancers and independent workers are building the new economy, speaking out and creating the world they want to see and work in.

The vision is clear: It is time for collective action and freelancers to come together to drive change in Europe.

Freelancers: Stand up. Speak up. Show Up!
