Diogo Dantas’ Freelance Ecosystem

In this post, we chatted with Diogo Dantas

Diogo Dantas is a freelance remote digital product designer who works closely with founders, product managers, and engineers to help design and ship web, mobile and desktop applications. He helps startups figure out what they should be building and transform their vision into a useful & profitable product.

What are you working on and what do you love about it?

I’m currently working on two client projects at the same time: a health content platform and a grocery delivery app. I also work on my own startup here and there.

Where do you interact with other freelancers in your industry or topic area?

Mostly online. I feel that freelancing in Portugal is still interpreted as “I’m looking for a full-time job”.

What benefits have you and your business got from being in contact with other freelancers?

I landed a gig not a long time ago for one of the hottest startups in San Francisco because I was referred by other freelancers I met online.

What is the one thing that is missing where you live that would support your freelance career?

Meetups to share experiences and tips that could help us, freelancers, better solve our day to day problems.

Where to connect with Diogo!
